Positive people attract positive things into their life like a magnet.
I’m talking about the people who genuinely feel at peace, genuinely happy and who process negative events and don’t dwell on them.
If you want to inject a bit more positivity into your life, here’s an easy way to start: practice being grateful. I know that sounds simplistic, but it works.
We have all had ‘one of those days’ when nothing goes right. Those days when it feels like the world is against us and it’s all a bit too hard. When you just want to hide under a blanket and try to forget everything.
But this is the time when you just might need this tip the most.
My number one tip for being positive
- Before you go to sleep, take out a pen and paper, and write down one thing you were grateful for in the day. It doesn’t have to be a big thing, it can be as simple as being grateful for being tucked into a warm bed after such a rotten day!
- Do this each night. And soon enough, your list will grow. Perhaps when you start you will be hard pressed to think of one thing you are grateful for. But over time, you will start to watch out for things to add to your list, and before you know it, you’ll see lots of things in your life that are worth saying thank you for.
Until next time, thanks for being here!
